Flipping through the look books and runway slideshows, flooding my mind with images from the recent New York Fashion Week, I am imbued with a spirit of simplicity and plain craft in the lines of women’s wear.  There is a quieter regard set forth in the common trends of dark coverage, key holed light of skin, and shades of layers.  In the caution there is a calm strength emerging from behind the simple silhouettes and black tailoring.
